Primary Three pupils travelled to Castleward as part of a local study for their topic Houses and Homes. They had a guided tour of the house at Castleward and got the opportunity to see what life was like below the stairs where the maids worked. They tried their hand at polishing the silverware, ironing the linen in the laundry and making butter in the dairy.
