EY1 have been having a wonderful time in their recent practical lessons — exploring, discovering, and creating through hands-on experiences! The children have been busy, developing their curiosity and creativity in so many exciting ways:
🐝 Beebot Colour Hunt: The children used the Beebot robots to find and identify different colours, learning to recognise and name them through interactive technology and teamwork.
🔢 Discovering Number 1: We explored the number 1 in lots of fun, sensory ways! From decorating the number with craft materials, forming it in shaving foam, playing number 1 ICT games, to making their very own number 1 sets — the children enjoyed every moment of discovery.
🐠 The Rainbow Fish Adventure: Linking to our topic “Colours,” we dived into the story of The Rainbow Fish. The children created their own colourful fish and used corn on the cob to print and design beautiful scales in art.
It’s been a joyful few weeks of learning through exploration! 🌟
