Our EY1 children have had a wonderful week exploring the magic of nursery rhymes as part of Nursery Rhyme Week 2025! This year’s official rhymes — Sing a Song of Sixpence, Humpty Dumpty, When I Was One (I Played the Drum), I Hear Thunder, and Two Little Dickie Birds — have inspired lots of exciting learning and creativity. The children have taken part in messy play, art activities, sensory stories, music-making through ICT, and sensory exploration, bringing each rhyme to life in imaginative ways. It’s been a fantastic week filled with rhythm, creativity, and fun! 🌈
