Reviewing our Anti-bullying policy

5th Nov 2025

As part of Anti-Bullying Week, the student council took the opportunity to review the school’s existing child-friendly anti-bullying policy to ensure it remains effective and relevant. During the review, council members discussed ways to make the policy even clearer and more practical for pupils to follow. As a result, they introduced the “TRIP” criteria, a new guideline to help students recognise and respond to bullying more confidently.

This addition aims to support all children in feeling safe, respected and empowered to take action if they or others experience unkind behaviour. The updated policy will now be shared with the wider school community to promote awareness and encourage consistent use of the TRIP approach.
