Welcome to the Primary 4/5 class page.

Our teacher is Mr Gray and our classroom assistants are Miss Cullen, Mrs Thompson and Mr Smyth.

This year we will be fabulous ambassadors for our school taking on new roles and responsibilities which we have been elected to do; digital leaders, eco-councillors, school councillors and safety squad.

Our daily literacy lessons cover a wide range of skills and topics through comprehension, phonics, punctuation, grammar and writing. This term we are focusing on developing our recount writing skills.

In numeracy we will be expanding our knowledge and understanding within the five main areas of numeracy - processes in Mathematics, Number, Data Handling, Measure, Shape and Space.

This term our new World Around Us topic is 'The Human Body'. We will be learning about a range of topics this year from 'Space' to the 'Rainforest.

Children will also be studying the 'Grow in Love' programme and some P4 children will also be preparing for their Sacrament of Holy Communion.

We are very excited to take our learning outdoors and learn in our new outdoor classroom.
In PE we will be completing lessons on Dance, Gymnastics, Swimming, Athletics and Games.
